Miscellanious Controls & Effects
There are a number of other very useful controls, styles and techniques that can be applied to a web page. For example, on the 'Images' tab to the right, there is an example of an image viewer that is very fast. You simply hover your mouse cursor over a thumbnail and the image pops up on the left (over the top of this text).
The tab control itself is yet another style of tabbed panel and includes the ability to apply color styles to the tabs. In terms of functionality though, it is identical to the other tabbed controls that appear on this site.
The Tool Tips tab is a tool tip demo. Tool tips are useful for popping up brief descriptions of items of interest, products specifications, etc., and can be applied to just about anything (text, images, buttons, etc.).
The 'Effects' tab is another tool tip demo that displays 'bubble' style tool tips. This type of tool tip is effective at bringing the attention of your visitors to specific or import content, when needed. You can also embed links into tool tips and associate them with text or images to pop up a bubble tooltip. |
