Tabbed User Interface
A tabbed user interface provides a highly usable and easily expandable method of displaying and conveying a large and varied amount of information. Like the files in the file cabinet you store your important documents in, the tabs are arranged and labeled for quick and easy identification and access.
When a significant amount of information needs to be displayed and organized, 'Tabs-Within-Tabs' (TWT) is an invaluable aid. This user interface (what you are now interacting with) is a good example of the TWT methodology and is typically applied where information needs to be displayed in a seamless yet layered manner.
By embedding additional user interface components within a tabbed panel, such as the image viewer to the right ('Images' tab), information can be displayed in a clear and concise fashion, providing an intuitive and easily navigable user experience.

- Explanation
- Content Without Rules
This is a demonstration of embedding Tabs-Within-Tabs (TWT). When your information is either layered or multi-dimensional, TWT is an excellent method of presenting that information to your website visitors in a seamless manner.
By creating a user interface that is highly interactive and easy to navigate, your website visitors will interact with your content more efficiently. By layering your content, you create an environment that keeps your visitors on your site for as long as possible, thereby increasing your odds of making a sale, reservation or appointment.

No matter how your content is structured, there are methods available to encapsulate that content in ways that are both efficient and engrossing (to your visitors).
